Tyrone Aki Cooper

Born in The Bronx and raised in Harlem but lived in all the five boroughs in New York. He started his salesmanship in elementary school by selling penny candy's for a nickel to students. He was always selling to his family get what he need, but his family were some tough cookies. Escaping the city of New York he fled to Louisiana where more of his family were located. Realizing the boy still had the city of New York within he was sent back. Now living in Westchester County, New York life seemed to be still moving slow. In 1993, he dropped out of High School and went back to Harlem.

ROAM! (May 1993) Born on the rooftop of Harlem overseeing the city's neighborhood he enrolled into the School of Hard Knocks. His major was Salesmanship but when he took a course of Purloin he was sent to Rickers Island. There he realized a hidden skill; writing. He wrote his first poem called Life Goes On. In court, he let the judge read the poem. Two weeks later. he was released. While completing his education with the School of Hard Knocks he continued writing poetry and attended poetry readings. Leaving the school with high honors and his doctrine in 1999 he entered a world of reality. Jobs after jobs after jobs after jobs.

Skifalls Publishing (March 2001) created to be his own job, to work for himself. It started with poetry

From Eviction Notice To Enterprise

Skifalls Publishing is a New York publishing company that lifts short stories, film ideas, and real hustle into one creative platform. The journey started on February 14, 2001, when threatened eviction pushed poetry into print and onto subway trains. Readers asked for more, so April Fools, HE said arrived in 2002, followed by three more short stories, a novel, and newsletters, proving that street-level storytelling can grow into a lasting business.

Building A Catalog On The Train

Skifalls grew between crowded train cars and station platforms, where every copy sold meant more time to write. April Fools, HE said has moved over 75,000 copies through direct conversation, eye contact, and honest pitches. Those same skills now power our e‑commerce store, digital downloads, and affiliate code system, giving readers fast access to NYC Subway Short Stories and giving writers, sellers, and investors a real way to participate in the growth.
